Shaun Plymale: Trial Attorney and Zealous Advocate for Justice

Shaun Plymale is a dedicated trial attorney who thrives in the courtroom, passionately advocating for individuals whose cases demand resolution before a judge and jury. Specializing in Personal Injury, Family Law, and Civil Litigation, Shaun has built a reputation as a fearless and determined litigator who delivers results for his clients.

Shaun is a rabid Clemson Tiger, obtaining his degree in Financial Management in 1995 before earning his law degree from the University of Florida. His legal career began as an Assistant State Attorney in Tallahassee, where he gained unparalleled experience prosecuting thousands of DUI cases. Shaunโ€™s leadership as a Statewide DUI Technical Advisory Board member and his role as an instructor for DUI case preparation at the Florida Highway Academy, Leon County Sheriffโ€™s Office, and Tallahassee Police Department solidified his position as a top authority in DUI law. This foundation has made Shaun one of the most respected DUI defense attorneys in Martin County.

In 2002, Shaun returned to his hometown of Stuart, joining the prestigious Crary Buchanan law firm. He quickly rose to the rank of Partner in 2006, further expanding his practice to encompass Civil Litigation and Personal Injury. Over the years, Shaun has successfully handled thousands of injury claims stemming from auto accidents, bringing justice to those who have suffered harm due to negligence.  Shaunโ€™s role as the owner and managing member of Treasure Coast Legal expanded his practice into family law, where his trial skills helped his clients find justice through the difficult process of divorce, child custody, and post-judgment modifications.

As the driving force behind Treasure Coast Legal, Shaun is committed to serving his community both inside and outside the courtroom. He has served on numerous boards, including the Stuart Martin County and Palm City Chambers of Commerce, the Martin County Economic Council, the CASTLE Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, and the Republican Club of Martin County. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member and General Counsel for the Chapman School of Seamanship, and he chairs the Micheal Shields Memorial Fishing Tournament in memory of his childhood friend.

Shaun, a lifelong resident of Martin County, is married to Stacey, and they have two children, Jillian and Matthew.  Supporting the youth of the Treasure Coast has always been a top priority, both through sponsorships of local youth programs and coaching his kids in youth sports.

Shaun Plymale is more than an attorneyโ€”he is a relentless advocate for those who need their voices heard and legal matters resolved.
